sled dog parents: Paloma and Eirwen, her older brother from their first litter, Parka, and her older littermates Iclyn and Olwen.

Appearances

Paloma: Like her sister, Snowdrop, Paloma's main coat color is a light cool-gray. She has a white underbelly and bright turquoise eyes. She has white markings that trail up the bridge of her nose and two white dots that hover above her eyes, as well as pure white ears with pink insides and dark cool gray freckles along the bridge of her nose and markings that go along her back, paws, and tail. Her tail curves over her back and is very fluffy to the touch. She wears a raspberry colored collar with a golden name-plate

Eirwen: His coat almost matches Paloma's aside from the lavender hue to his coat. his white markings extend to cover his eyes like a mask, but don't reach further than his forehead aside from the two dots that hover above the "mask". His eyes are a rich cerulean blue color. most of his underside is white, the lavender coat almost like a cape that drapes over him. The tips of his ears are white, but the rest of ears are a darker hue than his main body coat. he wears a minty-teal colored collar with a golden name-plate

Olwen and Iclyn: The two are almost identical from each other in terms of appearance aside from some minor differences. Olwen's eyes are a soft denim blue and Iclyn has a bright, icy blue. Olwen and Iclyn share the same deep "v" mask marking that covers most of their face like their sister, Everest, but come up a little lower on their face, not as high up as Everest's. Olwen's face markings extend to the bottom half of his face and has two white dots above his eyes, while Iclyn's makes a wavy shape closer to her muzzle. Olwen's feet markings come up only partially on his legs, like Everest. Iclyn's leg markings cover almost all of her legs. The insides of their ears are a very light pink. The outsides of their ears are a darker hue than their base-coat and have white markings that outline their inner ear. Olwen wears a pastel yellow collar with a lightning shaped tag. Iclyn wears a navy blue collar with a silver flower shaped tag.

Parka: Parka is a darker reddish-brown color that comes from one of his grandparents. He's a bit different looking than the rest of his siblings due to this color, but he doesn't mind it very much. He's incredibly fluffy, especially around his neck which causes his floof to spill over the top of his collar, which is a dark crimson hue with a golden circular tag. His paws and underbelly are a pale cream hue and his tail curls against his back like his younger cousin, Blizzard. He has his mother's teal eyes and freckles between his eyes.

Personalities

Paloma: Paloma is a very warm and kind-hearted dog, but has a very fierce competitive streak. She knows how to make you feel welcome and loved, but also doesn't hold back when it comes to racing or playing games. Mama bear is a force to be reckoned with and the pups know that they need to listen when mama says "no" or they're in for a world of trouble. Overall, however, Paloma absolutely loves her family and will do absolutely anything to protect them.

Eirwen: While he could be rather stern like his brother-in-law, Eirwen cracks the facade rather easily and is easily wrapped around his childrens' paws. He's a big ol' softy when it comes to his wife and children and he is a big old goofball when he's not in racing mode. He can get loud and mean when he needs to be, but his pups have never seen that side of their pop. He's their hero and the fastest pup in the snow! After their mom, of course.

Olwen: Racing is in this pup's blood! Olwen talks as fast as he moves and tends to ramble on and on without realizing it. Although he's a friendly pup, he's a bit of a dense boy and doesn't think before he speaks and will often insult others before he could stop himself and doesn't really realize what he said until someone has to explain it to him. He has the best intentions, he's just a bit of a dopey boy.

Iclyn: More on the quiet side, but she's far from shy. she is incredibly outgoing and adventurous, she just doesn't really like to talk all that much. Iclyn is incredibly smart and inventive, so she absolutely loves watching Rocky and Ryder when she gets the chance, the only ones she'll ever really talk a lot to in order to learn more about their inventions and to show them her own inventions. She did have a crush on Rocky for a little bit and was jealous of her cousin, but quickly backed off when given a talking to by her mama.

Parka: Despite being the older brother, he acts most like a pup out of his family. He's very energetic and is a huge goofball, often times trying to make a serious situation more lighthearted with jokes or a pun. He's got a huge heart and would rather spend his time making others laugh and feel needed than to run races like his parents and brother. He can be a little bit dense at times, not the sharpest tool in the shed, but he's a loving guy and just wants the best for everybody

Trivia

  • Iclyn's name is pronounced like "Ice-lynn". kind of influenced by one of my favorite coworkers naimed "Aislynn" who pronounces her name that way and inspired me for the name
  • Everest was separated from the family during a family vacation to the South Pole. A nasty storm had separated her when she had gone too far belly-bogganing and she was unable to find her family. Luckily though, she met Jake and the rest of the PAW Patrol instead. Although it took them some time to actually be able to contact her family and their owners after Everest had been with training with the Patrol for a few months. Paloma sobbed when she saw Tundra for the first time. Unknown to Tundra and Everest, the girls had met before. When Tundra was only 6 months old, Paloma had come to visit her sister with her own 6 month old litter and 1 year old Olwen during a family reunion. Paloma wasn't surprised they didn't remember since they were still so young, but she remembered how quickly the pups got along, even Blizzard was eager to play with the others at that age. It made Tundra and Everest's bond strengthen a bit more as Paloma told them stories of Snowdrop and of each other as babies.
  • After convincing their owner to move to Adventure Bay to be closer to their daughter; honestly not much convincing needed since he wanted to retire from pro-racing and move to a quiet town anyway; Paloma and Eirwen become big parental influences in Tundra's life. They help fill the roles that she missed as a younger pup and she quickly becomes like their own daughter. Tundra is especially close to Paloma as she tells her about her mother and keeps her memory alive. Eirwen is a master of dad jokes and always looks for a way to make his niece laugh whenever he gets the chance.
  • Once reunited with Everest and Tundra, Paloma tells the girls that they remind her of herself and Snowdrop when they were pups. At one point Snowdrop became jealous of how good Paloma was at being a racing dog, but once the two made up, they were tight as could be and kept in touch even after Snowdrop was adopted out.
  • Parka is 6 months older than his siblings and cousins
  • When the family spends the night at the lookout for the first time, Olwen has trouble sleeping and decides to take a walk during the night. It was then that he met night-watch pup, Shery, and the two hit it off pretty well. He starts to become more of a night-owl as an excuse to see her at times during her shift, but they tend to make some time to hang out during the day as well.
  • Definitely wasn't intentional since i hadn't seen the show when i first made them, but Paloma and Eirwen have a dynamic much like Chili and Bandit from Bluey.
  • please do not ask about crushes
