Paw Patrol / Pups Visit Australia! Characters Ryder and the Pups, including Everest Darwin Rescue Centre Crew Story. On a huge Cruise Liner on it's way to Darwin, Australia. Ryder and the Pups were looking out at some dolphins swimming next to the ship. Skye: Look Guys! There's a tiny baby dolphin there! Everest: Hehe! SO CUTE! Ryder: Hey Guys! Look! Ahead of the ship was Darwin, Australia! Chase: Wow! The amount of fun we all had on the ship made the trip so much quicker! Zuma: Yeah dude! Totally! Ryder: C'mon guy's! Let's go to the PAW Patroller and get ready to go! All the Pups: OK! So the gang head off to the PAW Patroller to get ready to go. They were going to stay at the Darwin Rescue Centre for 2 weeks. And when it was time to leave they would be bringing a special someone back with them. The ship docked after a while and the vehcile door opened and the Paw patroller started the 20 minute trip to the Darwin Rescue Centre! Marshall: How much longer to go Ryder? Ryder: Not long now Marshall. Marshall: OOOHHH! I just can't wait to see what the folks are like at that place! Rocky: Yeah! And see all the sight's! Chase: I want to see the Police Officers! Marshall: And I want to see the Fire Fighters and Medics! Skye: Not to mention the aviation department! Ryder: Hahahaha! You lot are just WAY to excitied for this aren't you. All the Pups: YYEEAAHH!!! Just then The PAW Patroller pulled into the main drive of the Darwin Rescue Centre. The Pups were so excited that they all fell off their seat's! When The PAW Patroller parked in a spot specialy reserved for them, the gang jumped out and wowed their heads off! Chase: This is amazing! Ryder: It sure is! Hahahaha! ????: Hey there! Are you the Paw Patrol? Ryder: Yes. And are you Mark? Mark: Sure am. Welcome to Darwin Australia. Ryder: Thanks. I'll introduce you to my pups. So Ryder introduce's the pups to Mark. Mark: You've got a very grand gang there. Ryder: Thanks. Mark: So would you like tour of the building? Ryder: Yes please. That would be quite useful. Mark: Right. Let's begin. So Mark leads the Paw Patrol into the Rescue Centre building. The pups were amazed of how big it was! It was a 5 level high building with a lookout tower on top as well! Rubble: WOW! This place is HUGE! Mark: Sure is. We have a staff total of 5,000. Including the Rescue Team and Office Workers. Ryder: Hey Mark. Where is the one we are taking back home with us? The pups are dying to meet him. Mark: He's out on his duty rounds of the city right now. But he will be back within a few minutes. Rocky: Hey Ryder. You never told us who we were taking back with us! Ryder: Don't worry. You will all get to see who it is when he finish's his duty. Just then Mark's phone rang. When Mark had finished talking and hung up. He told the Paw Patrol that the one they were taking home was just pulling into the garage. Mark: Right guys. Follow me and you will get to meet the one you taking home. All the Pups: Yay! So the gang follow Mark to the Garage to meet the new one! Mark: There you are. That's him. ???: G'day Mark. Mark: Hey there Rex. Rex: And who are your friends here then? Mark: Ah. Rex meet the Paw Patrol. Rex: Ah yes. The ones that are taking me back to their homeland. Adventure Bay I believe. Ryder: Thats right. And these are my pups. Rex: Mind introducing them to me? Ryder: Of course. Pups introduce youselfs. Mark: Why don't you introduce yourselfs on the way to Rex's room. Ryder: Good idea. Mark: Well I have to get back to work now. See you later on. Everyone: BYE! Rex: Right. Follow me to my room. Chase: Cool. I can't wait to see it. Rex: Trust me. Your going to love it. So Rex starts leading the gang towards his room. The pups start introducing themselves on the way. Chase: I'm Chase the Police pup by the way. Rex: Very nice to meet you Chase. Zuma: And i'm Zuma the water rescue pup. Marshall: I'm Marshall the fire pup. Rubble: I'm Rubble the consruction pup. Skye: I'm Skye the aviation pup. Everest: I'm Everest the snow rescue pup. Rocky: And i'm Rocky the recycle pup. Rex: Well it's very nice to meet you all. ?????: G'day Rex mate. Rex: Whats new James? James: Nothing really. Just another day at work thats all and who are these fellows? Rex: Oh. James meet the Paw Patrol. Guys meet my best friend James. All the Paw Patrol: Hi! James: Nice to meet you. Hey Rex. Never got to ask you if you were going to the dance party tonight. So are you? Rex: Wouldn't miss it! You guys want to come along with us too? Rubble: Really? James: You bet. It's going to be awesome! Rex: Sure will be. See you there mate. James: Will do. Oh and are you going to dance with Ella? Rex: James! James laughs as he walks away and Rex continues to lead the Ryder and the pups to his room. Rex: Well. Here we are. Marshall: Hey Rex. Who's that Ella James was talking about? Rex: We will get to that later Marshall. Right. Lets go in. When Rex opens the door to his room the pups were once again filled with wows! The room had a full screen TV, a medium sized sofa, a huge window looking out to the city, a bookself filled with books and DVD's, a cabnet with food inside and a huge single bed! Everest: This is amazing! Rocky: And you sleep in here every night? Rex: Sure do. Zuma: You are so lucky dude! Rex: Well your room depends on the rank your in for your job Zuma. As me being a 2nd rank Police officer this is the kind of stuff you get. Rex closes the door, takes off his uniform and then the gang and him sit on his sofa. Rex: Right. Who wants to watch TV? All the pups: I AM!!! Ryder: Hahaha! They are just way to excited Rex. Rex: I can see that Ryder. Hahaha! Rubble: Is Apollo the Super Pup on? Rex: Who's Apollo the Super Pup? Marshall: Only the best Super Pup there is! Rex: Well I hate to disappoint you. But there is no such thing as Apollo the Super Pup here in Australia. Rocky: Oh Man! Ryder: So what do you normaly watch? Rex: Well I like this show called The Force. Everest: What's that? Rex: Well Everest. It's a show about the police here in Australia catching bad guys. And it's based on true events. Chase: Sounds Cool! When does it start? Rex: It's starts now. Shall we watch it? Everyone: Yeah! Rex: Ok then. So Rex turns on The Force and they all watch the whole episode. Rex: Well guys. What did you think of that? Chase: It was amazing. Skye: It was cool! Rex: Hahaha! I knew you would enjoy it. Say. It's time to go to the dance party. Rubble: Lets Go! Rex: Alright. How about we walk down with James? Rocky: Yeah! Rex: Ok then. I'll call him. So Rex calls James on his moblie and hangs up shortly after. Rex: He said yes. Rocky: Cool! Rex: Right. Lets go! So Rex leads the gang to James' room to get him and then they start to head down to the gym where the dance party was being held. James: So you guys all excited? Skye: You bet. I love to dance! Yip Yip Yip! James: Hahaha! Just then they arrive at the party. Lights were everywhere, music filled the air and there were already loads of people and dogs. James: Looks better than last time don't you think Rex? Rex: Sure does mate. Amazing eh guys? All the pups: Yeah! James: Look lively Rex. Here comes Ella and Rachael. Rex: Right guys. Me and James are going to go and do some of our things now. We will see you later on. Ryder: Ok. Have fun. Rex: Will do. So Rex and James headed over to the girls and ask to dance with them. Not long after they are all having fun dancing the evening away. The pups were dancing the Pup Pup Boggie moves and some other dogs watched it thinking it was very clever. Everyone danced until about 8:30pm. Rex: Well that was a great time. James: Sure was. YAWN! I think I might tuck in early tonight. Rex: YAWN! Yeah me too. I'll never get up in time for duty at this rate. James: Well i'm off. See you later mate. Rex: Ok mate. See ya. Rex heads over to the Ryder and the pups. Rex: Well did you have a good time? Rubble: You bet we did! Skye: I did tail spins until I was dizzy! Rex: Hahaha! Well I going to go to bed now. Ryder: And I think it's time for bed for you too pups. Oh and what time do start duty tomorrow Rex? Rex: I go out on duty at 9:30 in the morning. Ryder: Ok. Night Rex. Rex: Night Ryder. Night guys. All the pups: Night! Rex heads off too his room and the pups head to the PAW Patroller. Ryder: So how did you guys enjoy the first day in Australia? Rubble: It was awesome! Marshall: Yeah! Ryder: Hahaha! That's what I thought. Oh well. Night. All the pups: Night Ryder. Before long it's all quiet at the Rescue Centre. The next morning the pups sleeped in until 8:50 as they were all very tired after all the fun they had the day before. Soon Ryder and the pups were out looking for Rex. They found him 5 minutes later talking with two dogs that Ryder and the pups hadn't met. Ryder: Morning Rex. Rex: Ah. Morning Ryder. Morning guys. All the pups: Morning! Chase: Hey Rex. Who are these two? Rex: Oh. Guys meet my Parents. This is my Mother Diana. And this is my Father Max. All the Paw Patrol: Hi! Diana: Very nice to meet you all. Max: Very nice indeed. Rex looked at his phone a gasped! Rex: Oh Gosh! I've got to get ready for duty. I'll see your guys later on. All the Paw Patrol: Bye! Diana: Bye my treasure. Rex: Oh Mum! Diana: Hehehe. Rex heads off into the building. Ryder: Hey Diana. Do you mind telling us the life story of Rex? Diana: Not at all. Boy Rex's story has a thing or two attached to it. Hey. Come with me to our room and we will show you some pictures of Rex in his younger days. Everest: Awesome! So the gang follow Diana and Max to their room. Soon they got to the room and they Diana and Max looked on the wall. The others looked too and gasped! There were photos everywhere of Rex and his Brothers and Sisters! Marshall: So this is Rex in his younger days? Max: Sure is. Skye: Hehe! He's soo small! Diana: He sure was small. He's the oldest out of his Brothers and Sisters. Zuma: Who are his Brothers and Sisters? So Diana and Max tell who Rex's Brothers and Sisters are. Chase: Wow! Hey. Did Rex ever cause any trouble? Diana: Not really. Only a little bit. He was a well behaved son. Max: The others how ever were born to be trouble. Diana: Yip. They sure were. Rubble: What did they do? Max: Well for a start they thought that their older brother was too good for himself so they always tried to get Rex into trouble. Diana: But we always knew whenever Rex caused trouble it was their doing. Rocky: But how did you know it was their doing? Max: Because they couldn't help but laugh when ever Rex made a mistake. Chase: They cheeks. Diana: You're right there. Marshall: Hey. Is this a picture of Rex onboard a ship? Max: Sure is. And he owns that ship. Marshall: Really! Zuma: Rex owns a ship! Diana: He sure does. And here's a picture of it. Ryder: It's an old sailing ship. Max: Yip. The Black Pearl. Once a pirate ship. Rex was gifted the ship because he became the fastest dog in history to get into 2nd rank officer. Everest: Wow! Does he ever show off that he has a ship? Diana: No. Our Rex never shows off. However that ship means a lot to him. He just loves her. Rubble: Do you think he will take us to have a look? Max: Well tomorrow is his day off. So he might. Rubble: Awesome! Chase: Will he take us out on her? Diana: Probably. He normaly takes her out for a spin everytime he goes to see her. Ryder: Where is she? Max: She's docked at dock number 7 at Darwin Harbour. Ryder: Oh well thats not far away. Diana: Right. Moving on. So Diana and Max show the gang more photos of Rex and then they spend the rest of the day in places like the grooming house, the team photo gallery and the playground. They were having so much fun that it wasn't long before Rex came back from duty. Rex found them on the playground. Rex: Hey guys. All: Hey Rex! Diana: Hi my Rexie. Rex: Mum how many more times do i have to tell you! I don't like being called Rexie! Rex said it in a rather grumpy way. Diana: You seem to be in a bad mood. Rex: I am! I pulled over countless cars today and every single driver didn't understand why! Max: I hate those kind of people. Rex: So do I. Anyway. What did you lot get up to today? Chase: We mostly learnt about your ship The Black Pearl. Rex: Ah yes. My beloved ship. I'm going to go visit her tomorrow. What to come? All the Paw Patrol: Yeah! Rex: Ok then. And i'll give you a ride on her too. Rubble: Awesome! It wasn't long before the next day came. At about 9:45am Rex and the gang headed for Darwin harbour. 20 minutes later they had arrived at the harbour. Rex started to lead them to the dock number 7. Rex: Shes just around this corner guys. Chase: Cool! I can't wait to see her. Rex: Well. There she is guys. All the Paw Patrol: Whoa! Marshall: And you own this thing! Rex: Sure do. Zuma: Your so lucky dude! Rex: I know. And I just love her. Right. All aboard. Oh and Ryder. Ryder: Yes Rex? Rex: Do your think you can translate my orders to make them more clear to the pups? Ryder: Sure thing Rex. Rex: Great! All paws! Weigh anchor and undo the lines! Ryder: Lift the anchor and untie the ship from the dock! All the pups: Aye Aye Captain! So the pups do what Rex and Ryder said and soon they were drifting with the current out into the harbour with Rex at the wheel.. Rex: Let down those yards! Ryder: Let down the sails! So the pups all climb up the rigging and let down the sails. Even the ones right up the top! Soon they were going at full speed out to open water! Rex: Perfect! She's running nicely as always! Rubble: This is awesome! Zuma: You bet dude! All the pups howl! Rex: Right! Who wants to go up to the lookout post? Skye: I will! Ryder: All right Skye. Skye: Yeah! Yip! Yip! Yip! Rex and Ryder: Hahaha! So Skye goes up the main mast to the lookout post. Soon Rex and Ryder gave the pups all a job. Rocky, Marshall and Rubble washed the top deck. Chase, Zuma and Everest polished the all the cannons and railings. Soon all the work was done and Rex had something to ask Ryder. Rex: Hey Ryder. Do you think you could man the ship while I go into my cabin? Ryder: No problem Rex. Rex: Awesome. Thanks. So Rex heads down the steps and head into his cabin.For about 20 minutes Ryder kept a straight course until he heard Skye yell out. Skye: Ryder! There's a storm ahead! Ryder: We better get Rex! Chase get Rex from his cabin! Chase: Aye aye Ryder! Chase knocks on the door and Rex answers it. Chase: Rex! There's a storm ahead! Rex: GASP! On deck all paws! .Make it fast and short worth of it. Come on crew! Movement! I want movement! Ryder! Hard to starboard! Soo everyone on the Pearl gets on the main deck and Rex hurrys up to the wheel and takes over Ryder! He orders everyone to hold on tight and get ready to get wet! Rocky: Oh man! I hate getting wet! Rex: Well I've got news for you pal! Theres no chance your going to stay dry! The storms wind was blowing at 61 Kph! The Pearl began to rock forward and back! Here sails were blowing loose and she was nearly impossible to steer. But luckily Rex knew exactly what to do! He turned the ship one way, then the other! But Rex was faced with a problem! Rex: Everyone! We won't be able to get the Pearl back to her dock! We will have to anchor her about a mile from now and row to shore! I know it's scary but you're all going to have to go up the masts and lift up the sails! Ryder: You can do it pups! Zuma: Ryders right! We can do! All the pups: Yeah! So the pups all climb up the masts and lift up all the sails. Soon the Pearls sails were all up and Rex ordered to drop anchor! As soon as the anchor hit the ocean floor, the Pearl began to stop and rise out of the water due to the tall waves! Rex: Ryder, prepare a boat and make sure everyones safe! Ryder: Yes captain! Soon Ryder and the pups had a boat ready to go to shore! Rex was the last to leave the ship. The waves weren't as big as out at sea, but they were still pretty big! Soon they were all back on shore and the got in their vechiles and drove back to the Rescue Centre! Zuma: Whoa! That was some adventure! Ryder: It sure was Zuma. Hahaha! Rex was driving in his Mclaren police car when his phone rang. He didn't have to pull over because he could talk through a speaker on his car to talk on his phone! Rex: Hello? ?????: Hi Rex. Rex: Hey Mum. Whatsup? Diana: Just calling to make sure you're okay. This storm is pretty rough! Rex: Your telling me that? Boy that sea was as high as the Pearls top deck! Diana: But you made it back safely? Rex: Sure did. The pups and Ryder were a great crew! We are all on our way back now. Will see you in about 10 minutes. Diana: Okay my darling. Ciao! Rex: Bye! Rex hangs up and contiues to lead the gang back to the Rescue Centre. The next day when Rex was out on duty, Diana and Max show Ryder and the pups an old video that filmed Rex in his childhood days. Skye: Hehe! Awww! He's sooo cute! Diana: He sure was as tiny as a mouse back then. Rocky: And he grew up to be the hero he is today. Chase: Hey look! There he is sneaking up on some pizza! Max: Ah! That was Rex's habit. Whenever there was pizza around, never turn your back to it or Rex will come and eat it before you can turn back! Rubble: What was his favourite? Diana: We never knew. He seemed to like ever flavour. Marshall: Does he do it now? Max: No. He grew out of that. But he still eats pizza. Ryder: Hey. Do you have a tape of Rex when he was first born? Diana: We sure do. I'll get it. Within a minute Diana returned with the tape. Diana: Here we go. Watch this. ON THE TAPE Diana: Hey Max. Come here. Max came and saw a little bundle of fur who was cuddling up to Diana. Max: It's perfect. Diana: It's a boy. Max: Okay. He's perfect. What should we name him? Diana: I was always thinking Rex Max: Rex? I love it. OFF THE TAPE Skye: Aww! He was so cute! Diana: He sure was. Max: Hey. Why don't we go the grooming house? Everyone: Okay! So they all went to the grooming house. Rubble: Oh yeah! I love this place! Zuma: Yeah! Me too! Ryder: Hahaha! ????: Hi Ryder! Ryder: Oh. Hi Mark! Mark: Ryder. You can guys fix stuff right and give other souls treatment if needed right? Ryder: Yeah. Why? Mark: Well. It's Rex! Ryder: Rex? Everyone stops and gasps! Diana: My Treasure!? Mark: Yip! He just called me and said that he was chasing someone when they pulled out a gun and shot him in the leg! And Rex's car has some dents in it too! So I wondered if you and your team of pups could help me save him. Ryder: Don't worry Mark! No job is too big! No pup is too small! Lets go pups! So Ryder and the pups head to the PAW Patroller. The pups get their gear on and head to their duty stations! Chase: Ready for action Ryder sir! Ryder: Okay pups! We all know why we are here! Zuma: Poor Rex. Skye: I hope he's okay. Ryder: He will be! Once we help him! Marshall! I need you and your EMT gear to help Rex with his injury! Marshall: Ready for a ruff ruff rescue! Ryder: Rocky! I need you and your tool arm to fix the dents in Rex's car! Rocky: Green means go! Ryder: All right! Paw Patrol is on a roll! All the pups howl and the PAW Patroller starts up! Mark comes out in his car. Mark: Follow me! Rex told me where he is! So Mark leads the Ryder and the pups to Rex! meanwhile Rex was leaning on his car in pain! Rex: Oww! Then Rex saw Mark and the Paw Patrol coming his way! Rex: Oh! Thank goodness! Mark: You okay Rex? Rex: No! I think I got shot by one of those silver bullets! Oww! Ryder: Don't worry Rex. The Paw Patrol is on the job! Marshall! Go check Rex's injury! Marshall: You got it Ryder! Ryder: Rocky! You and I can fix the dents in Rex's car! Rocky: Green means go! The other pups came to Rex's side looking worried! Chase: Man that must hurt! Zuma: Totally not cool dude! Marshall: Let's see. Ruff! X-ray screen! Hmmm. Everest: How does it look Marshall? Marshall: The bullet hasn't gone in far. But I don't have the right tools to get it out. Sorry Rex. Rex: Don't worry! The vet's back at the Rescue Centre will! Meanwhile Ryder and Rocky had nearly finished fixing car. Rocky: Nearly done. There! Ryder: Great job Rocky. Rex: Awesome! My Mclaren is as good as new! Thanks guys. Ryder: No problem. Rex: But how will I get it home? Mark: I'll stay here and get a tow truck. Rex: Thanks Mark! Ryder: Now come on Rex. Take your time. Rex tried to walk but he just fell over. Rex: I can't walk. Marshall: Wait here! I have just the thing! A few minutes later Marshall came out with a stretcher. Rex carefully got on. Rex: Well this is what I call transportation. Ryder: Hahaha! Soon the PAW Patroller was heading back to the Rescue Centre. When they got there, there was a vet there waiting for them. Vet: Hi. Mark told me Rex was in need of some care. Ryder: He sure does need some care. Rex: Yeah. I think I got shot by one of those silver bullets again! Vet: Ow! Let's get you checked up. Rex: I hope I don't get hospitilized for a month again! Soon Rex was getting checked up. He was worried! Vet: I can get that out no problem! Rex: Oh good! After about 10 minutes of carefully pulling out the bullet, the vet got it out! Vet: Done! I'll just stitch you up and you'll be all good! Rex: Oh yeah! Just then Rex's favourite song came on the radio! Rex: Oh my gosh! I love this song! Rex started to sing to the Holla! Within that time the vet had stitched up Rex! Vet: All done! But Rex didn't hear her and just kept on singing. When the song finished the vet spoke again. Vet: All done! Rex: Oh! Great! Thanks! Vet: No problem. The vet helped Rex down off the table he was on. At the same time Diana and Max walked in! Diana: Treasure! Rex: Hi Mum! Hi Dad! Max: How bad was it? Rex: Not that bad over all. But it still hurts a bit! Diana: Here. We will help you back to your room. Rex: Ok! So Diana and Max help their son back to his room! When they got there, Ryder and the pups were waiting. Rex: Hey guys. All the Paw Patrol: Hey Rex! Everest: How is your leg? Rex: It's fine. Only hurts a bit. Diana: Rex! Your sibling's are here. Ryder and the pups watched as Rex's brothers and sisters came up to him. They frowned at Rex and he frowned back! The pups looked worried! But then Rex and his sibling's just smiled at each other. Major: Hey big bro! We came as soon as we heard. Sarah: Are you okay? Rex: Yeah. Only hurts a bit. I'll be fine. Marko: That's good. Rex: Oh by the way. You haven't meet the Paw Patrol. Ryder, Pups these are my sibling's. Major, Marko, Sarah and Georgia. All the Paw Patrol: Hi! Major: G'day! Rex: Major here is the second oldest out of us. Sarah here is third. Marko is four and Geogia is the youngest. Marshall: But why were you frowning at each other? Major: Oh! That's just a thing about us. We do just for the sake of it. Georgia: It's nothing to afraid of. Marko: We also came to tell you that some visitors are coming around to have a look at the place. Rex: Excellent! So Rex's siblings went off and Rex went to his cars garage. Ryder and the pups followed him. When they got there Ryder and the pups gasped! There were at least 10 racing awards on a bench in the garage and right in the middle of the garage was Rex's Mclaren! The towtruck had carefully put it in the garage just 10 minutes earlier. Chase: Whoa! Look at those trophies! Rubble: Wow! Ryder: Hey Rex! Rex: Yes Ryder? Ryder: I never got a good look at you car earlier. Can I have a look? Rex: Sure! Ryder: What type of engine is it? Rex: It's a 3.8 litre twin turbo V8. Ryder: Whoa! Tell me more! Rex: It has the best black leather seats! Strong tires with a neon blue ring! It has a light up neon blue line that runs nearly the whole car! And one the best steering wheels in the world! Ryder: I think i'm in love! Rex laughed as he hit the button that opened the garage door. Even with a newly stitched leg, Rex could still drive. He started the engine and drove his Mclaren slowly out of the garage. She looks better in the sun Said Rex as he jumped out. Just then some News Press came running up to Rex! Some had camera's and some had recorders! Reporter 1: Rex! Is it true your leaving Australia?! Camera 1: Show us the tag! Rex: One at a time please! Reporter 1: Rex! Are you leaving Australia?! Rex: Yes I am! But I will be back to visit! Reporter 2: Where excatly are you going?! Rex: A little town called Adventure Bay! Reporter 2: I see! And who is taking you there?! Rex: These lot here are! Some of the Press ran to Ryder! Reporter 2: Young man! What's your name?! Ryder: Ryder! Reporter 2: And why are you taking Rex?! Ryder: Well the town is getting bigger and we needed more Police Officers! I heard that some of the best Officers in the world are from here! So I rang them and they asked a few Officers! The only one who said yes was Rex! The Press went back to Rex. Reporter 1: So Rex, you are willing to go to this Adventure Bay town and be an Officer there?! Rex: Yes I am and that's all I'm saying! Now move along! Camera 1: Rex! So after about 10 minutes of snapping pictures, The Press left and Rex turned back to Ryder and the Pups. Marshall: Is that happen a lot Rex? Rex: About 30% of the time. ????: Hello! Rex: Huh? ????: Didn't see me coming did ya? Rex: Oh Ella. I see you in my mind. Ella: Hahaha! Rex: What can I do for you? Ella: I need to talk with you. Rex: Ok. I'll be back guys. All the Paw Patrol: Ok! So Rex and Ella walked out to the cliff outside the Rescue Centre where you could get a view of the city. Ella: So Rex. You leaving Australia..... Rex: Yes? Ella: Well it's just..... Rex: You want me to stay and be with you don't you? Ella: Well....Yes. Rex: I understand. I want you to be with me too, but some things you have to live with. Ella: I know. Rex: But hey. You could always come and visit me. Or I could visit you. Ella: I suppose. Rex: And I have your phone number. So we can still talk. Ella: Yeah. Rex: Don't worry. I'll send you postcard's and and email's on my laptop. And I'll contact you when I get to Adventure Bay. Ella: Ok. That's all i wanted. Rex: Understood. Right. I better get back to the gang. Ella: Ok. Oh! And don't forget about Movie Night tonight. It's The Lego Movie Rex: Oh yeah. Don't worry! I'll be there! Ella: Cool! Bye. Rex: Bye! Rex heads back to Ryder and the pups who were looking at Rex's Mclaren. Rex: Admiring my Mclaren are we. Chase: You bet. Rex: I remmember the day I got that car. It all started the day I became a 3 rank Officer. When I went up on the stage to get my new badge Mark pulled a sheet off a car and when I saw it I nearly fainted. And that was the day I first asked Ella out. Rocky: Cool. Rubble: Could you take us for a ride in it some day? Rex: Sure. Maybe tommorow. Because of my leg I'm off duty tommorow. Oh and there's Movie Night on tonight as well. Everest: What movie is it? Rex: The Lego Movie. Zuma: Awesome! I love that movie! Rex: We all do. So at Movie night you can bring you sleeping gear with you if you want. All the pups: Awesome! A few hours later Rex and the Paw Patrol were seated at the theatre. Skye: This is awesome Rex. Rex: I know. ?????: Hey buddy. Rex: G'day James. James: I heard about what happened earlier. You all good? Rex: Not bad now mate. James: Oh good. Hey guys. All the Paw Patrol: Hi James. James: Hey Rex. You brought along your movie night blanket. Rex: It's movie night. So I should bring it. Just then Ella and Rachael came along. James: Hey Ella. Want to sit in my seat next to Rex? Ella: Sure. And that way you can sit with Rachael. James: Hahaha! So everyone sat down and after about 2 hours everyone came out of the theatre very tired. James: That was great. (Yawns) I'm off now Rex. Bye. Rex: Bye James. James: Bye you guys. All the Paw Patrol: Bye James. Ryder: Hey pups. You don't know this but. Me and Rex had a little talk earlier and we agreed that you guys can stay in his room for the night. All the pups: Awesome. Rex: Yip. We better get there now. It's late. Ryder: Okay. Bye pups All the pups and Rex: Bye. Rex: Right. Let's go. About half an hour later the pups were in their sleeping bags that they had brought to the movie, but not asleep. Because a thunder storm had started. Rex: Man. We just had a storm yesterday. Rubble: Is it common? Rex: At this time of year yes. Just then a clap of thunder came and Rex's bedside lamp went out! Rex: Uh Oh! Light's are out. Then a clap of lighting showed up. The pups whimpered. Rex: Hey hey hey. There's nothing to be afraid about. Thunder sounds close. But it's just sound from miles away. Everest. Really? Rex: Yip. And Lighting is just cause by hot and cold air meeting each other. Rocky: I see. When the pups weren't looking, Rex quickly grabbed his necklace from his bedside table and hid it under his blanket. But this was no necklace, It was a music locket. Rex opened it slowly and it started up. The pups heard it. Chase: What is that? Rex: Something personal of mine. Just listen to it and you'll go to sleep no problem. And sure enough the pups went to sleep one by one. Shortly after they all fell asleep Rex closed the locket, put it back on his table and went to sleep. The next day the storm was well gone and the sun was beating out brightly. Rex and the pups didn't wakeup until 9:00am. Rex: Oh dear! I overslept! Chase: Us too! We would normaly be well awake by now! Rex: Maybe all but Rubble. Rubble: (Snore) Huh? All laugh. Rocky: Are you going to take us for a ride in your Mclaren today Rex? Rex: Sure thing Rocky. I'll give you all a ride once I've breakfast. Marshall: What do you eat for breakfast? Rex: I eat middle aged dog food for breakfast. Keeps dogs my age fighting. Chase: We better go and get breakfast too. Zuma: Yeah. I'm totally hungry! Rex: Hahaha! Okay. You guys go and get breakfast and I'll meet you back here. All the pups: Okay! About 30 minutes later the pups and Ryder went to Rex's room. Ryder: We're here Rex. Rex: Ah good. Follow me to my baby. Soon Rex, Ryder and the pups were at Rex's Mclaren's garage. The pups could hardly wait! Before long they were at the garage. Rex: Here we are. I'll just open the garage and drive her to the track. Chase: Wait. There's a track here? Rex: Sure is. It's where you can race others and stuff like that. Zuma: Awesome dude. Soon they were all at the track. But they weren't alone. ?????: Well look who it is. Rex: Hey James. I'm just taking the pups for a ride in the Mclarens. James: Cool. Want to race soon? Rex: Sure. Chase: You guys can race now if you want! Zuma: Yeah! Don't let us stop you! Rubble: And we would love to see you race! Rex: Okay. James: Let's do this! Soon the Ryder and the pups were in the grand stand. Rex and James were at the starting line. Rex: On you mark! James: Get set! Rex and James: Go! They were off! James took the lead first. But Rex raced past him within 10 seconds. Rex: See you later! James: Just because your Mclaren is great doesn't mean that my Corvette can't beat it! Rex: We'll see about that! Rex and James zoomed into the tunnel! 5 seconds later they roared out and raced over the twin bridges! James took the inside ground and went into the lead! James: James takes the lead! Rex: Not for long! They roared around 2 corners and then came to the 180 degree curve! Rex took the chance and raced back into the lead! Rex: Told you! Meanwhile Ryder and the pups were watching the race on a screen. Chase: They are so fast! Just then Rex and James turned a corner and headed down the home straight! All the Paw Patrol: Come on guys! Rex shot through the finish line in first place with James right on his tail! Rex: Ha! I win again James! James: Oh man! I nearly had you that time! Ryder: Wow! That was amazing! Rex: Yip. It's really fun as well. Right. So who's first for a ride. I can take 4 of you. James: Same here. I can take you for a ride as well. Ryder: Cool. Let's see. Chase, Zuma, Rocky and Marshall. You can go with Rex. Rubble, Everest and Skye. You go with James. James: You come in too Ryder. Ryder: Okay. Rex: Up for another race James? James: Your on! So Ryder and the pups jumped into the car that they where going in and Rex and James went to the starting line. Rex: On you mark! James: Get set! Rex and James: Go! They were off once again! James took an early lead again, but Rex went past him! Rubble: Faster James! James: I'm only getting started! Rex: That junk pile of his will never beat us! Chase: At this rate they won't! Soon the cars entered the tunnel. 5 seconds later they roared out and over the twin bridges! Rex was leading by 5 metres! They soon came to the 2 corners. Rex skidded around both of them! Rex: Yeah! James: Oh yeah! They raced around the 180 degree curve and headed to the steep downhill part of the track! Rex: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah! Haha! They raced down the hill and around another 180 degree curve! They turned the last bend and Rex raced across the finish line first! Rex: I win again! James: Not again! This last race is for the win! Rex: Lets do this! Ryder: Alright pups, lets switch cars. So the Ryder and the pups changed cars and Rex and James drove them to the starting line. Rex: On your mark! James: Get set! Rex and James: Go! They were off once more! This time they were head to head! But then James pulled ahead! James: See you at the finish line! Rex: I'll be there first! They raced along the track at the safety speed for the track! Before long they were heading down the home straight! James was still leading! But he was going a bit too fast! Rex: Slow down James! James: I'll be fine! Just then James' engine exploded because of the heat! James: Right! Everyone out now! I'll turn on the engine fire hose! Rex: Whoa! James turned on the fire hose for the engine and the fire was out in minutes. Rex: So much for you being fine James. James: Yeah. That was pretty safe wasn't it. Everyone started laughing! That evening, Ryder and Rocky helped Mark to fix James' car. Mark was a bit annoyed. Mark: James. This is the third time something has happened to this thing! James: But the second time wasn't my fault though was it! Mark: Still. Be more careful next time you race. And besides, Rex's Mclaren is to much for this engine. It's not built for the speed and heat you were going. James: Sorry Mark. Mark: Yes well. Let's get this thing fixed. The next day Rex was back on duty. Ryder and the Pups spent the day looking at the city. The Pups were amazed! It was huge! They knew that Rex was proud to be part of this place. Chase: I wonder what Rex will say about the town? Ryder: I'm sure he'll like it. The next day, They were all with Rex in his room. Rex didn't start duty until 10:30 that day. But that was about to change. Rex's Human Handler burst into his room. Rex: Thomas? What's going on? Thomas: Come Rex! We need to go to the meeting room! Get you gear on! Come on! Rex: Right! Rex quickly got his gear on and him and Thomas raced to the meeting room. Ryder and the Pups followed. They soon got to the meeting room. Rex: Now guys. Stay out here. Ryder: Okay. Rex: Good. Rex and Thomas went into the meeting room. There were other Officers with their dogs there too. The meeting soon started. Meanwhile Ryder and the Pups waited outside. Then Mark came along. Mark: I see you followed Rex and Thomas here. Ryder: Yip. Chase: What's this meeting about? Mark: There's been a report of two men trying to get into peoples house's just outside of the city. Ryder: Whoa! Mark: Yeah. But I can show you a place where you can watch everything. Rubble: Cool! Mark: Yeah. We keep track of everything there. So Mark started to lead them all to a huge room filled with computer screen's and headset's. Ryder and the Pups were amazed. Ryder: Wow! You have a lot here. Mark: Sure do. And we treasure all of it. Just then they heard a big noise from outside. It was a squad of Officer's with their Dogs. Rex and Thomas were in the Squad. Rex had a black leash attached to his collar. The Squad ran past and headed to the Dog Car garage. Rex was put in his cage in one of the cars and within moments, they were all off! Ryder and the Pups were in the control room watching the screens. Mark was talking to Rex on a radio. Mark: Okay Rex. Turn on your tag camera. Rex: Roger! Rex turned on his tag and his camera vision was on screen. Mark: There. Now you can see him in action. Chase: Cool! Meanwhile Rex and the team were searching for the two men. Rex was sniffing around with the other dogs when he started barking! He had spotted the two men! Thomas: There they are! Squad! This way! Rex and the other dogs were barking their heads off. The men tried to run away. But other officers and dogs came from the other way. The men were trapped. Thomas: On the ground! The men did as they were told. Other officers cuffed them up. Thomas: Good boy Rex! Thomas scratched Rex on the neck. Rex loved it. Later on they all returned. Rex was tired out along with the others. He went back to his room and put his unifrom away. He then went to see his mates at the relaxing part of the building. Ryder and the Pups found him there. Rex: Hey you bunch. Chase: Hey Rex. We saw it all. Rex: Did ya now? Yeah. It's not easy work. Ryder: I bet it isn't. Rex: Well I'm tired after that. I think I'll rest here a bit more, then by that ime it will be time to eat dinner. Rubble: Yum! What do you guys eat? Rex: Well today is Saturday. So it's pork chop and a nice bit of apple sauce with it. Marshall: Yum! Rex: Does that sound good? Rubble: Yeah! Rex: I can tell. Ryder: Well these pups just have normal dog food. Rex: Cool. Then Ella came. Ella: Rex. After dinner remember there's a performance. Rex: I haven't forgotten. And it better be better than last time. That other one was a not great. Ella: Yeah. But this one is singing our National Anthem. Rex and Ella began to sing. Rex and Ella: "Australians all let us rejoice, for we are young and free. With golden soil and wealth for toil, our home is girt by sea. Our land abounds in nature's gifts, of beauty rich and rare. In history's page, let every stage, Advanca Australia Fair!" Chase: Wow! Skye: Neat! Rex and Ella smiled at each other. Rex: Well I look forward to it. Ella: See ya then! Rex: Will do!
